"After a traumatic motorbike accident, doctors said I would be in a wheelchair by age 50 due to the injuries my body suffered. By taking the Vemma, I have more energy and I am able to be more physically active than I have been in years.* I am even able to enjoy scuba diving and dancing."

Mangosteen Juice and a Nutritional Supplement

The body has 63 trillion cells and needs superior nutritional ingredients that work quickly to support those cells and fight the aging effects of free radicals.* Free radicals are unstable molecules that remove electrons from a healthy cell, destroying the cell in the process.

Everyday your body’s cells are being bombarded by these unstable molecules. Without a strong nutritional foundation, your cells may be more susceptible to free-radical damage.*

To combat the free radical chain, the body uses something called antioxidants. These are naturally occurring compounds which help prevent or delay free-radical damage to the body, tissues and cells.

Antioxidants can be found in a good well-balanced diet, for example:

  • Vitamin D – Found in salmon, tuna fish, liver, milk, beef, eggs and direct sunlight.
  • Vitamin C – Found in broccoli, bell peppers, green leafy vegetables, citrus fruits, kale and cauliflower.
  • Beta Carotene – Found in carrots, collard greens, squash, and spinach.

Other antioxidants are more concentrated, but a bit harder to come by.

Another source of antioxidants is Mangosteen, dubbed the “superfruit” and “Queen of All fruits”.

The Mangosteen Fruit

Mangosteen Juice

Mangosteen is a rare superfruit primarily found in Southeast Asia and scientificially known as Garcinia mangostana. It has been used for centuries by Asian health practitioners to treat a variety of health conditions.*

Xanthones in the Mangosteen Fruit

Xanthones are a biologically active phytonutrient with very potent antioxidant properties.* Of all the known sources of xanthones, the mangosteen fruit supplies some of the highest amount in nature.

With all the different kinds of mangosteen juice on the market, and the different nutritional supplements containing mangosteen, how do you know which ones provide the nutritional benefits from these xanthones?

One way is to check for independent laboratory tests performed on a particular product, to see how many xanthones are contained within it.

Differences between Mangosteen Juice and a Nutrition Supplement
The difference between mangosteen juice and a good quality nutritional supplement, is that the supplement will have additional nutrients such as the full spectrum of vitamins and plant based minerals, and perhaps other ingredients such as green tea and aloe vera.

When the antioxidant-rich power of mangosteen is combined with plant-sourced minerals, vitamins, decaffeinated organic green tea and organic glyconutrient-rich aloe vera, the result is the ultimate nutritional foundation.
