G'day, it's John here.   Singing is a great source of pleasure for me. From the age of sixteen up ’til now I’ve been singing in bands from garage bands,  to more well known groups supporting acts like Chuck Berry, The Hollies andBlack Sabbath.

I got over the “ nervous ” thing after half a dozen shows when I was sixteen.
Looking back over the years, the most common reason for the band “cancelling ” a gig would be because I had a bad cold or flu.

One time the band was booked to do a big show and on “the ” day I had such a bad cold I could hardly TALK let alone SING.

It was too late to cancel the job, so, in desperation I asked my doctor what he could do.
He suggested acupuncture and at 2 pm I was in his surgery with needles sticking out of my lips, eyebrows,  ears, neck and a few in my backside for good measure.

He told me that in one hour my voice would come good, my cold would be gone and I would be fine to sing tonight.
 

I said ” fair enough doc, whatever you say.!! “  (yeah,  right.  Who was he kidding ?? )
There was one catch !! at 2 am exactly  I would turn back into a pumpkin.  My cold would come back worse than before but it didn't matter,  I would be on my way  to bed by then.

HE  was right, we had a really good night and my cold did start coming back on the way home.
The only thing was, the acupunture seemed to   “cover up ” what I had.

I didn’t want to ” GET ” all those colds in the first place !.

There had to be another way surely ??

I started taking all these vitamin pills and only had one cold in the next six months.
The problem was there were about 30 to take every day !

All lined up along the breakfast bar in the morning like little soldiers waiting to invade my throat, S.W.A.T. pills, aaaaaaaaaauuuuuuuhhhhhh !!

Luckily a friend told me about a product that would give me the same results but it was in a ” liquid” form.

So now, instead of gagging on all those pills every morning,  I fill up a shot glass with the Vemma product.

I used to get several colds and the  flu every year but I haven't had the flu all this year or last year, and might get one or 2 colds a year.
And the best part is,  I can sing whenever I want and don’t have to worry about colds or flu messing things up.
