VEMMA Mangosteen Juice

Whole Fruit nothing but the Truth

THERE IS MORE GOOD NEWS to share with you regarding the study of the phenomenal phytonutrients called xanthones found in the mangosteen fruit.  I read yet another press release dated July 5, 2007 that XanGo® is touting a new "easily duplicatable" and "credible scientific method for testing and measuring xanthones."

HERE'S JUST A FEW OF THE HIGHLIGHTS FROM XANGO'S PRESS RELEASE

"In the peer-reviewed method for quantifying xanthones from the mangosteen fruit, [the lead researcher] used the high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) analysis to create an analytical methodthat accurately identifies xanthones from the rind of the mangosteen fruit."

"This study published in the Journal of Separation Science, ensures a more consistent and reliable marketing of mangosteen products to consumers relative to claims of xanthone content."

"XanGo Juice is produced through a proprietary whole fruit formula based on a puree of the entire mangosteen. The whole mangsteen fruit contains 39 different xanthones.  The rind of the mangosteen is considered nature's most abundant source of xanthones. Xanthones, a unique class of phytonutrients, possess a range of powerful antioxidant properties."

"There are many other photochemicals found in the fruit that have beneficial effects which are lost in extraction or jeopardized when the natural balance of the fruit is manipulated." said Mike Pugh, manager, research and development at XanGo.

"A xanthone measurement standard is in place. Now claims concerning xanthone  quantity and efficacy can be evaluated through credible research," says Walker.

"An 80:20 acetone/water mixture was used to extract xanthones from dried, ground whole mangosteen fruit rind."

"Research lab ChromaDex developed the standards, and in accordance with AOAC protocol,  performed a single lab validation to quantify xanthones through comparison measurement of detector response factors of individual xanthones."

Normally, I wouldn't have written such a technical email, but what I'd like to share with you is, no matter how you test VemmaTM  and XanGo® for xanthone content and no matter who conducts the testing, our product continues to prove itself as the world's most powerful mangosteen product. Inside, you'll find the most recent xanthone test results performed under the new analytical method XanGo is touting in their press release and conducted by the same lab, ChromaDex. Just in case you were wondering how XanGo's product tested under this new protocol (since they didn't release this information in their press release) we had their product tested right alongside Vemma.  With these results, I wonder what XanGo will say next?  Too many xanthones aren't good for you?
